Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They help websites work correctly and give owners insight into how the site is used. This policy explains the cookies HireDronePilot sets and the choices you have — in line with the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, as well as similar laws in other countries.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| hdp_country | Remembers the country you chose to browse so listings are filtered consistently across the site. | 1 year | Functionality (your choice) |
| session / auth cookies (hdp-auth-token) | Keep you signed in to your account securely. | 30 days | Strictly necessary |
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Aggregated analytics: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, which features get used. IP addresses are anonymised and no directly identifying details are sent. | Up to 2 years | Analytics |
Your choices
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets the cookies listed above and collects online identifiers and usage data (IP anonymised) on our behalf as our data processor — no name, email address or other directly identifying detail is sent. Analytics cookies are used without an on-site banner; the use of analytics is disclosed in this policy and our Privacy Policy.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site keeps working normally either way — you still get the full marketplace, and blocking analytics only means we lose the statistics.
International visitors
Analytics visits are anonymised (IP address truncated) and we only keep what is needed to provide the service. Where local law (for example the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or India's DPDP Act) requires more, this policy — and the disclosures in our Privacy Policy — set out the lawful basis and your rights, including how to object to analytics processing or ask us to unpublish your profile.
